Will ALL Those Deep Secrets Be Revealed Now?
“Preemption, rather than reaction” summarizes the Bush doctrine which congealed in the wake of a conservative and national backlash against the weakening of the United State’s power and security in the world.

Secret Order Lets U.S. Raid Al Qaeda in Many Countries
WASHINGTON — The United States military since 2004 has used broad, secret authority to carry out nearly a dozen previously undisclosed attacks against Al Qaeda and other militants in Syria, Pakistan and elsewhere, according to senior American officials. … military raids, typically carried out by Special Operations forces, were authorized by a classified order that Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld signed in the spring of 2004 with the approval of President Bush, the officials said. The secret order gave the military new authority to attack the Qaeda terrorist network anywhere in the world, and a more sweeping mandate to conduct operations in countries not at war with the United States.
“Islamic Terrorists” supported by Uncle Sam: Bush Administration “Black Ops” directed against Iran, Lebanon and Syria
The Bush administration has admitted that covert actions of an aggressive nature were applied against Iran and Syria. The stated objective was to wreck the countries’ economies and currency systems. The infamous Iran-Syria Policy and Operations Group (ISOG) created in early 2006, integrated by officials from the White House, the State Department, the CIA and the Treasury Department, had a mandate to destabilize Syria and Iran, and bring about “Regime Change” :
“The committee, the Iran-Syria Policy and Operations Group [ISOG], met weekly throughout much of 2006 to coordinate actions such as curtailing Iran’s access to credit and banking institutions, organizing the sale of military equipment to Iran’s neighbors and supporting forces that oppose the two regimes.” (Boston Globe, 25 May 2007)
As I watch Barak Obama enter an American Airlines charter jet, the thought crossed my mind … is he riding coach enroute to the White House transition meeting?
It is sad to realize that Barak and Michelle Obama have decided to fly in separate planes. They are too aware that extremists have them targeted and they will not risk their children loosing both parents. Their love for their children trumps all else, image is not the priority. This is refreshing, because the world they create will have children in mind. The daunting task of making a future suitable for the children is priority number one.
The official story of course, is that they have different schedules today …
I am giddy with anticipation for a return to stability. Granted, stability is a light at the end of a long tunnel, but at least we can see it glimmer, way down there. One of the first things I hope Obama will do is tear down those dark curtains hiding the atrocities the Bush Administration is guilty of. Secrecy and Black Ops have created more domestic terror that a thousand alQaedas or Talibans. … How many terror events were actually set up or manufactured, to use as excuses for burning the US Constitution, breaking National and International laws, and diverting taxpayer dollars for personal gain?
Open government is a right earned by the taxpaying public. Without accountability, taxes are nothing more than tribute to the elite. America fought a war for independence from paying tribute under the guise of taxes. This is not a monarchy! America is a Democratic experiment. Like scientists we must learn from our failures.
Transparency in Government — How American Citizens Influence Public Policy
by Ellen M. Katz “A popular Government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a prologue to a farce or a tragedy; or, perhaps both. Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.” — former U.S. President James Madison, 1822

Open Meetings, Open Records, and Transparency in Government
Transparency in Government Act 2008 is a broad legislative effort intended to make the work of Congress and the executive branch more transparent by creating laws and regulations that would bring more information online and available to the public in a timely manner. The draft legislation is an amalgamation of bills that have already been introduced, along with new provisions. If enacted, it would create historic changes in the way the executive and legislative branches provide information to the public, and Sunlight believes it would foster a better and more complete understanding by the public of how the government works. Transparency
Government transparency should be embedded in the design of ICT systems. Citizens too rarely understand how government decisions are made. This lack of transparency prevents the public from actively participating in government and from raising questions or protesting unfair or ill-advised decisions. A lack of transparency can conceal official graft or favoritism.
E-government can play an essential role in revealing to the public the policies their government is adopting or the actions the government is taking. South Korea, for example, reduced corruption by reorganizing government activities such as licensing and permit approval, and creating an online monitoring system to track each application. This program succeeded in reducing the number of bribes and collusion among corrupt bureaucrats because officials could now be held personally accountable for actions.
Who’s Against Transparency in Government?
Transparency in government has a glorious tradition. Justice Louis Brandeis long ago said, “publicity is justly commended as a remedy for social and industrial diseases. Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants; electric light the most efficient policeman.”

Thanks for your observation Patricia – this could resolve, for most viewers, typical flashbacks to prevailing attitudes from the 1950s and 1960s, culminating with OJ Simpson’s slow roll into our living rooms. These visuals can recall sub-conscious prejudices passed along by the elders in our families, they can provide closure (for most). The significance should not be lost …
Associations like this can contrast how far our society has come, or how far back it has slipped, depending on who is looking.
There are those who will see this image as a righteous challenge. They have been emboldened, by a careless politician, to eliminate an American black leader who embodies hope for most and a threat for some …
What struck me odd about CNN’s coverage of the meeting of George W. and Barack Obama was the detail in which Jeanne Moss of CNN described the motorcade. An aerial view of Black SUV’s traveling down the highway reminesce of OJ. I saw the same thing you always see, be it John McCain, Sarah Palin, Joe Biden a motorcade of secret service and the President elect. But Jeanne Moss’s only memory of a black man in a SUV was a fugitive running from the authorities. She is definitely a commentator to listen to.
John, I sure hope you are right! If we get the open government we were promised, I expect it will take years to digest all the revelations. I already know about the Apollo stuff, I already have good info about the hidden aliens, its the grassy knoll & who carries the ‘Sangre’ today.
In this meeting, Obama will learn who was behind the grassy knoll, where the Roswell aliens are being held captive, how we faked the Apollo 11 moon-landing, and the name of the current Grand Master of the Priore d’ Sion.
