Talula, sorry for responding late, but I took your suggestion and studied the teach-in info. I posted about it, I love the concept. Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for recognizing the social changes popping up around the planet.
I was impressed how many women are running for office in Iraq. We should see very soon how many are actually elected. The concept really speaks volumes for Muslim women everywhere.

Great post! Hhmmm! Maybe the world really is finally looking at what we (women, that is) can DO; instead of who we ARE! And with President Obama’s signing yesterday of the extension of time for filing for women’s EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK ACT; maybe we are nearing the point of reality for those who state “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world!”
Funny – it seems we are crossing paths more and more these days, bosskitty. I just finished posting a message for National Teach-In on Global Warming cominmg up on Feb. 5. You might want to go to the website (www.nationalteachin.org/organizers.php) and grab a link to the “First 100 Days” webcast to use here for a more all around post on the info for your audience.
