Your article hit the nail on the head with "Why is it so much cheaper to travel to other countries for medical treatments?". Medical Tourism is popular because the healthcare at home is so out of whack. It is not just the pricing which is the problem, but also the longer waiting times. That you can pay for a trip all the way around the world, stay in a tropical paradise and pay for all hotels, get the same procedure as done at home with western trained doctors and fantastic medical facilities but still pay less total then for just the treatment at home says there is a problem with the healthcare system.

What you are saying is patently true. How much longer can this abuse and charade go on of the abuse at the helm of the “Health Care Industry” ?
